America's Poison Centers' STAFF

     

Richard Fogelson, J.D.

Richard Fogelson is the CEO of the America's Poison Centers. In this role, he oversees operations, strategy and innovations for America's Poison Centers. Richard has 25+ years of legal, medical, and health policy experience across both commercial and federal organizations. He also volunteers as an active member and officer-in-charge with the fire rescue services with over 35 year of service to the EMS community. Richard is an active member of the Virginia Bar.


 

Leslie Sandler, M.Ed.

Leslie Sandler, M.Ed., is the Vice President of Certification, Accreditation and Professional Education for America's Poison Centers. In this role, she is responsible for managing, developing, planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating and supervising all certification and accreditation operations in collaboration with the Certification Committee and the Accreditation Committee, as well as related activities. In addition, Leslie serves as the staff liaison to the SPI Advisory Council (SAC). Leslie has over 25 years of association certification and accreditation experience. She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.).

     

Kaitlyn Brown, PharmD, DABAT

Kait Brown is the Clinical Managing Director for America's Poison Centers. In this role, she interprets clinical NPDS data and fosters relationships with public health and industry partners. She possesses 6 years of clinical toxicology and regional poison center leadership experience. Kait completed a PharmD and clinical toxicology fellowship.


     

Dan Titus, M.S.

Dan Titus is the Director of Operations/IT for America's Poison Centers. He supports the nation’s 55 poison centers, and America's Poison Centers' Central Office with various operational/IT projects. He is passionate about using National Poison Data System (NPDS) data for advancing public health awareness. Dan earned a M.S. in Information Systems Technology.

   

Nathan Pham, M.S.

Nathan Pham is a Director of National Data Services for America's Poison Centers. In this role, he assists researchers with obtaining and interpreting poison center data. Additionally, he provides vital support and input in the development and publication of America's Poison Centers' Annual Reports. His educational background includes a M.S. in Biomedical Science and a B.S. in Biological Science.


Maggie Maloney, M.S.

Maggie Maloney is the Director of External Affairs for America's Poison Centers. She has more than 15 years of experience in health, non-profit, and advocacy communications.  In her role, Maggie oversees all strategic communications and public education efforts for America's Poison Centers.  Maggie has a B.S from Illinois State University and and an M.S. in Public Relations from Boston University. 


Katie Ward, M.I.A.

Katie Ward is currently the National Director of Government Affairs for America’s Poison Centers. Previously, she served in increasingly senior roles for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, including serving as the Director of Federal Affairs. Katie has previously spent time in the House of Representatives and the United States Olympic Organizing Committee. She obtained her Bachelor’s in History from SUNY Oswego in 2013 and a Masters of International Affairs from Penn State University in 2016.


Davis Ladley, B.S.

Davis Ladley is the Associate Director of Member Services and Operations at America's Poison Centers. Davis supports the America's Poison Centers' Membership and Board of Directors by managing several membership related projects and initiatives (Monthly Board Meetings, Quarterly Town Halls, Access to Website and Resources, Management of Annual Elections, etc.). Davis holds a B.S. in Business Administration, specializing in Management from American University.

Natalie Stynchula, B.S.

Natalie Stynchula is an Associate Director, National Data Services for America's Poison Centers. Natalie received her B.S. in Biology from James Madison University. She has experience in clinical and customer services across hospital and private sector organizations. Natalie also has experience using various software programs and applications for CRM, document design, and data entry and analysis.




Mike Sonnecken, M.P.H 

Mike Sonnecken joins the America’s Poison Centers team as the Associate Director of Government Contracts in the National Data Service Department. Mike has a B.A. in Public Health Studies from Johns Hopkins University, an M.P.H. from George Washington University and maintains an active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. 



Krys Johnson, PhD

Krys Johnson is the Epidemiologist for America's Poison Centers. In this role, she analyzes NPDS data to identify trends and potential threats and collaborates with member poison centers to respond to emerging hazards. She has over 10 years of experience in epidemiologic practice and research within state departments of public health, academia, and the non-profit sector. Krys holds a Master of Public Health in epidemiology as well as a PhD in public health with a concentration in epidemiology.



Marcela Mollo, B.A.

Marcela Mollo joins America's Poison Centers as an Associate of National Data Services. Previously, she worked at a biopharmaceutical company. She obtained her bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia.

Masud Abdu, B.S.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, Masud possesses a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the field. As a National Data Services Associate, he is committed to using his knowledge and skills to support the strategic objectives of America's Poison Centers.



Shauna Devitt, M.A.

Shauna Devitt is currently the Communications Specialist for America’s Poison Centers. Shauna has over six years of experience working in nonprofit communications, previously working as a Senior Communications Manager for an organization working to end domestic minor sex trafficking and a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for an organization serving individuals with disabilities. She earned her Masters of Arts in Communications with a PBACC in Nonprofit Management from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a marketing Minor from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.



Stephen Luckey, A.A.

Stephen Luckey joins America’s Poison Centers team as the new Operations Associate. He will be working in the Membership Operations Department. Stephen has experience in both commercial real estate and public affairs in and around the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. He also holds an Associate’s Degree and brings 4 years of experience in business operations.
